DIRECTIONS TO APG MAIN (HARFORD) GATE
Visitors and commercial vehicles will not be permitted access to APG through these gates, they must report to the Maryland Gate to obtain a Day Pass.
Harford Gate (Rt. 22) in the Aberdeen Area and the Wise Road Gate in the Edgewood Area will only admit vehicles containing Government ID cardholders. There will be no change to the operational hours and days for these gates.
From Baltimore and Washington:
Take I-95 north from the Baltimore Beltway to exit 85 (MD Rt. 22, Aberdeen / Churchville). Exit I-95 and on the exit ramp take the second right onto MD Rt. 22 East toward Aberdeen Proving Ground. Continue east through 6 traffic lights (approximately 3.1 miles) directly to the APG Main Gate.
From Wilmington and Philadelphia:
Take I-95 south to exit 85 (MD Rt. 22, Aberdeen/Churchville). Exit I-95 and turn left onto MD Rt. 22 East toward Aberdeen Proving Ground. Continue east through 6 traffic lights (approximately 3.1 miles) directly to the APG Main Gate.
Once you reach Aberdeen Proving Ground, you will pass through the main (Harford) entrance gate and be on Harford Blvd. At the third traffic light bear to the right (2 lanes). At the next traffic light turn left (2 lanes). You will now be on Aberdeen Blvd. Proceed through 4 traffic lights (appx. 1.4 miles) until the road divides. At the "Y", bear to the left until you come to a building with a flagpole (on your right). The building with the flagpole (Bldg. 314) is DTC Headquarters.
